I just tried again. Reboot, re-install of Skype4B, start Skype, start Outlook, new appintment, same error. Could it be because Lync was installed when I updated? Maybe I need to delete some add-in? I uninstalled Lync and deleted the relevant files. Probably need to re-install now, since I can only send Skype invitations by using OWA...

I have the same problem. Had Lync 2011 installed, and added Skype for Business beta (now running the latest Outlook & SFB). 

Creating online meeting only worked when I was signed in to Lync, regardless if SFB was running. Could sign in to meetings with SFB, but never create them. Tried changing the prefs in Lync to choose SFB instead of Lync, to no avail. 

Have now done a clean uninstall of Lync 2011, I am logged in to SFB with the same account as Outlook, and can do everything except creating an online meeting. Still looking for a resolution.
