Call Queues Preserving CallerID
"This isn't being treated as a bug, but rather a feature that hasn't been implemented yet.
This is why there are no ETA's available, other than they are working on it and aware it is high on the feature request list".
Grrrrrr.
Anyone found a work around - we may be in for a long haul ?
That is a big change to what I was told back in April then by Mohamad Saleem as below!

We are fixing this undesirable experience soon...taking sometime to resolve as couple of other components are involved to be taken care. we will share once we have the final date.- Paul AustwickJul 27, 2017Brass Contributor
Mohamad - can we have any indication what soon looks like ?
If I have to pickup another sales cold call.....
... or worst still a supplier on slow day.

So in four months nothing has changed?

Right but is it a bug or is it a feature request?!
Lots of people signed up to the system following your confirmation of a fix due for a bug and it is a rather large issue for corporate use.

I would have to agree with that. The workaround to use team call groups means that I don't have direct line, and my team can't transfer calls to me. Really annoying when someone needs a technical explanation where I'm the only one who can provide it.

I know. My best guess reading between the lines this was somewhat of an oversight during development and therefore hard to retrospectivly correct. A misstep for sure.
I do think they are working on it but the frustrating thing is I have no idea what timeframes as it all seems pretty closed doors.

Sounds more like miscommunication and a fob off as usual.
