Skype for Business - On Prem - IOS Push Notification Status
Mattias
Seems Microsoft is make this available now for on-prem as well.
I have the February update installed and can see there are a new setting in the CsMobilityPolicy called EnablePushNotifications. It was not there before. And documentation is not mention this new parameter at all.
However after the Feb. CU also SCOM is generating new alerts.
Mattias do you have any news on what is going on with this ?

I have confirmed on multiple environments that once you apply the Febuary update, the Mobile client now says supported. If you do a get-CsMobilityPolicy the Global Policy already has EnablePushNotifications set to True.
Push Notifications do seem to be working as well as conversation history. However All Front End Servers have the following errors:
Ucwa Service can't connect to the configured Push Notification Proxy:
Cause: The Push Notification Proxy is currently unreachable. This may be due to network issues or misconfiguration.
Resolution:
Ensure that the Push Notification Proxy URI is configured properly.
Testing the Push Notification Service results in Sucess as well:
PS C:\Users\DC> Test-CsMcxPushNotification -AccessEdgeFqdn Edge.company.com
Target Fqdn :
Result : Success
Latency : 00:00:00
Error Message :
Diagnosis :
The errors are transient as SCOM does close them which I assume means they can resolve the push notification service at some point but they do come back. Will keep an eye on these and post if I learn anything new. If any Microsoft product team people can comment that would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dino

See this post for with others experiencing same issue. Seems we can ignore the error for now. In large environments monitored by SCOM this is causing 100's of alerts over the course of a day so you may need to override them until a fix is implemented. Again if any Microsoft Product Group folks can weigh in it would be appreciated.

I have an open MS case, they are aware and confirm the issue for now they saying it can be overridden in SCOM. I will try to post updated when there is anything from MS support.

Yes we had the same response for our ticket.
