S4B Client Version: 16.0.8326.2052
There are many users reported that the SFB Client Version 16.0.8326.2052 crashed as follow. It seems it's the lastest Office Suite version they streamed down directly from Microsoft O365 portal. ...
You don't need to uninstall the current version, it will help if you set the following registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\office\16.0\common\officeupdate\updatebranch=Reg_SZ:Business
and start the update schedule task. Should be faster than a complete uninstall and reinstall.

Just to check if that reg fix is tested yet and reported solved?
The reg key switches the channel from Current (or whatever you use) to Deferred, so in general it makes the same thing as you did manually.
