PSTN Call Statistics via Microsoft Graph API or PowerShell

Good morning.

This discussion is related to obtaining SfB PSTN call statistics via some non GUI based source.

When using the SfBActivity > Detail report source\method, the .CSV returned does not include any PSTN call statistics.
https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/docs/api-reference/beta/api/reportroot_sfbactivity

It appears every access method to obtain PSTN call data has been left out other than the report GUI seen at either of these two locations:
https://adminportal.services.skypeforbusiness.com/analytics/home
https://admin0a.online.lync.com

Can someone provide information on the developement status or the SfB roadmap for advance reporting in Microsoft Graph API or PowerShell?

Our company would like to convert completely to SfB but the inability to export the call logs programmatically is a roadblock.

Is this something that's currently in-scope for development and if so how can I track the status and release information?

It was working originally in PowerShell using the "Get-CsPSTNUsageDetailReport" cmdlet but that cmdlet has been deprecated and will no longer retrieve current \ new records and now we're left without a way to pull PSTN data from SfB Online.

NAME
Get-CsPSTNUsageDetailReport

SYNOPSIS
This cmdlet is available only in the cloud-based service.
This cmdlet is still available, but it no longer gives accurate results.

We also need this information for call reports and stats. Unlike many other missing features, this doesn't seem to be acknowledged in any roadmaps. It's a requirement to provide metrics and analytics on call information, and the reports that you can download from the old SfB admin panel are pretty much unusable - you have to manually download, unzip, convert the document from tab delimited and then try to make sense of it. For a weekly call report it's just not plausible.

Looking for the same. Could we get an official response from Microsoft on this? Presently there is no way to automate this process

We are also interested in this as it appears to be a quite manual process right now

  • I am also wondering about this..  I am working on reporting in SfBO via PS, and it doesn't look like they have built out the Graph API pieces for this to work.  @MS is there any updates?

  • Hi,

We are in the same situation. We need the data to create detailed custom Teams&SFB reports but can't find a way to access it programmatically.

    Greetings,

    George
