On-prem user using meetings online

Dear friends

In an Skype for Business hybrid environment, it is possible configure an on-site user to use online MCU meetings? I don't want convert this user in a pure oncloud user as it is using our onprem PSTN lines
Thanks

  • Not at this time.  That is a configuration that we're looking into supporting though, but don't have anything to announce at this time with respect to dates.  Love to hear what's prompting the question though.

On the other hand, you absolutely can move your user to the cloud & then have their PSTN traffic go through your on-premises deployment.  We call this On-premises PSTN Connectivity, and it's documented here: https://technet.microsoft.com/EN-US/library/mt455212.aspx - there is a difference in capability between what's available on the server vs. what's operating with Cloud PBX in Office 365, but with resepct to PSTN access it works fine.

      Jaime,
Thanks for the suggestion. I have moved the user to the cloud with the On-premises PSTN Connectivity feature, and everything it is working as I wanted: The user still use the PSTN on-prem connectivity and at the same time, the MCU in the cloud.

      Thanks again!
