Network Preferences

We're seeing behavipr with the S4B client where it seems to prefer a WiFi network over Ethernet, even if the Ethernet network is the preferred network on the client. Since meeting performance is usally better over Ethernet and switching after it has started disconnects the client this is impacting the experience for some of our staff. Any ideas on why this might be happening and what we could do to have the S4B client prefer Ethernet?

    Hi Brian,

Are you saying specifically SfB Client is doing this, or is this question really why windows (all apps) choose to use the Wifi Connection over the wired?

If it's Windows, could it be something like this? (quick google turned this up, might be different for 8/10)

    thanks

I checked with the team and the SfB Client should be prefer the wired/ethernet interface over a wireless interface for media traffic unless there is something unusual about the network configuration of the endpoint.

I'd check to confirm that both interfaces are actually enabled and working.
