Coming Soon - All new Skype for Business client look and feel

Just to bump this post, if that's ok, as this new look was released and then withdrawn.  It would be useful to know what's going on? Thanks for any info.

Here are a couple of comments from the linked article.  I also had the new look and it's now missing on the latest version - Current Channel - Version 1610 (Build 7466.2038):

"Last week I was enjoying the new look and feel of SfB Client but after yesterday update the old one is back. Is this something expected?"

and

"Can anyone explain to me what happened?? I got the notice about the color changes and then a week or so later I got the changes. today when I came in, everything went back to the way it was before the change. what happened?

EDIT - The new look is available in the First Release for Current Channel 1611, so it should show up again in the Current Channel in due course. That doesn't quite explain why some people saw it in the Current channel, for it then to revert back to the old look, soon after.
