When adding a third person a chat. Can the third person see previous messages?
Hi,
User A and User B were having a conversation on "Skype for Business". Throughout the day, both Users were sending messages and having a conversation. While the window remained open, User A added User C to the conversation, thus creating a "group chat". Can User C view the messages that User A and B were sending earlier in the day? Can the newly added User view the conversation history between A and B?

The feature you are trying to test is called as the Persistent Chat Feature for Skype for Business. Feature is only available in Skype for Business On-premises (provided the feature is enabled) and now in Microsoft Teams.
In case you are using Skype for Business Online then the UserC will not be able to view the previous communication done by User A and User B.
In case you are using Skype for Business On-premises then the UserC will be able to view the previous communication done by User A and User B provided Persistent Chat Feature is Enable for Skype for Business.
