Skype audio drops in meetings

I have issues pretty much every time I am in a Skype for Business meeting with more than 5 participants. I lose audio constantly. I am still in the meeting and can see the chat and any material that is being presented, but I can't hear anything. (It sounds like the call is still going but no one is talking.) I have to hang up and rejoin the meeting to regain audio. My manager says it's because I work from home and my internet isn't "good enough" but I don't have any issues when I use another meeting service, like Google Hangouts, Zoom or GoToMeeting. Does anyone else have this issue? I'd love to be able to go back to my manager and tell her it's a bigger issue than just me.

alinaelenadobrei had to upgrade my home internet to get it to work because skype is such a bandwidth hog. we dont really use skype meetings anymore (we're primarily using zoom) so i havent had many skype meetings this year to see if it's gotten any better.
