Skype for Business Mac Client version 16.15.166 crashes every time on start
We believe that this issue is now resolved. The problem was an Exchange update that has been rolled back. The initial fix done on Monday did not fix the entire issue, but the second fix should work for all customers.
Phil.
Dear Phill
Skype is running but I don't see the status of my colleagues in Outlooks to field. I used to do that.
Is this related or some other issue?
regards,
Chrilles

I am replying the 2nd time. It's annoying that my original post was deleted for no reason.
My applications Skype for Business and OneDrive Business crashes with the same signatures.
From an IP address in the UK via VPN both applications works just fine.
From an IP address in Germany without VPN those applications crashes.
Dependent on the geo location the apps must hit different server nodes of the cloud.
Was the faulty server component not rolled back across all server nodes?
Here the crash logs:

- Chrilles WybrandtMay 09, 2018Copper ContributorThanks Philip. I already tried an app restart, but that didn't work.
A system restart was needed (I hate to say this cause I am on a Mac :-))
Sorry for this stupid inconvenience!

No, that would be unrelated. As long as both apps are running, and you are signed into both apps with the same account, you should be seeing presence. If you aren't, then try restarting each app.
