Skype for Business Mac Client version 16.15.166 crashes every time on start

Can you confirm your OSX version? The crash related to the service component only happens on El Capitan (version 10.11). You can see the OS version by clicking About This Mac on the Apple menu. If you have a different version than 10.11, then this is a different issue.
If you can get us a crash dump, that would be helpful. Also, if you have a support contract with Microsoft, I would recommend opening a support ticket so that our support team can help to diagnose this.

My Skype for Business is still crashing. The latest install is from this portal: https://portal.office.com/OLS/MySoftware.aspx

It looks like there is a newer version - see https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Skype-for-Business-Blog/Skype-for-Business-on-Mac-March-Update-16-16-Released/ba-p/179460 - or am I wrong?
I have shared (by Request) my crash report with "Syed Iqbal". Is Syed Iqbal a known profile in this group or by Microsoft?

ChrillesIs the crash you are seeing on Windows or Mac? (The install point that you gave is for the Office apps on Windows.) To install SfB on Mac, use this link to get the latest version: https://aka.ms/SfBMacDownload. I don't know Syed Iqbal, but there is a Microsoft employee by that name in our Bangalore offices.
