Skype for Business Mac Client version 16.15.166 crashes every time on start

I have the same problem exactly. Same error messages and same OSX
version. I have the problem with or without VPN. I also updated my
Outlook for Mac today to version to 16.10 (180210). I suspect the Skype
problem may be related to the Outlook upgrade. I urgently need a fix for
this. Thanks.
Microsoft has identified the problem, and it is related to an updated component that is shared between Office apps. The crash only happens on OSX 10.11.x, and the update only went to a small set of users. We are working on rolling back the update.

- Since the problem is a shared component, this might also explain why Outlook will sometimes crash too, even on the background, although I haven't checked why as I just did with Skype for Business.
Anytime frame as to when will the rollback be available ?
My Skype for Business service is completely dead because of this...I was told by engineering that the rollback is complete, so all affected users should be back to normal.
