add consumer skype contacts to skype for business Mac
MicrosoftSFB Mac supports adding Skype consumer contacts if your SFB deployment is enabled for federation and you know the email address of Skype consumer. Type in the email address of your Skype contact, e.g. contoso@hotmail.com. SFB Mac will disaplay it in the search result. You can add the search result as contact via two finger tab.

Unfortunately it doesn't work for us.
"Let people use Skype for Business to communicate with Skype users outside your organization." it's active.
But if we search skype consumer with the email address we can't add them to our contact list.
It works only if the skype has a microsoft account email address or he has the skype account linked to microsoft...
We have tried with SfB for Windows and it works normally. In our company we use only Mac.
Is it a bug for the mac version?

Adding Skype contact using skype id feature is not supported in SFB Mac. + Jennifer Karlsson to add this to the list of feature requests.
- This is something we know is important and is on our backlog. We can't comment on timing right now.
