Unable to Register for Microsoft Learn Events?
I am running into an issue across multiple browsers of being unable to register for Microsoft Learning Events.
Most recently today, i am trying to register for the upcoming - https://msevents.microsoft.com/event?id=1787842212
The registration hangs after completing the captcha and then the captcha timesout and the registration is never submitted.
When i tried to click the login on the events page, i get an error -
AADSTS50011: The redirect URI 'https://msevents.microsoft.com/event'
specified in the request does not match the redirect URIs configured
for the application.

Is anyone able to help explain what is going wrong and how i can continue to register for events?

If you’re unable to register for a Microsoft Learn event, try:
Sign out of Microsoft accounts, then retry in an InPrivate/Incognito window.
Try a different browser/device and disable extensions such as ad blockers.
If the error says “There was a problem with registration”, it may be a Microsoft event-platform synchronization issue rather than your computer.
If it still fails, contact Microsoft Credentials Support and provide the event name, registration email, and exact error: Microsoft Credentials Support
Hi SimplyCondos, the AADSTS50011 redirect URI error points to a configuration issue on the event registration application side, not a browser issue on your PC. Since you already tested multiple browsers and the CAPTCHA flow hangs, capture the event ID, request ID, correlation ID, timestamp, and screenshots, then send them to Microsoft Learn or event support. As a workaround, try registering while signed out, in a private window, or with a different Microsoft account, but the redirect mismatch needs Microsoft to fix the app registration.
