Go to the Windows Control Panel and select Administrative Tools and then Recovery Disk.
Run the recovery drive setup and follow the instructions.
Make sure the setup process is completed successfully, this may take some time.
Once completed, check the status of the Windows RE using the reagentc /info command at the Windows Command Prompt.
If the Windows RE update status is listed as disabled, check your Windows interface settings and the selected storage location on the backup drive to ensure that Windows API calls are not being blocked.
