How Do AI-Driven Training Programs Compare to Traditional Learning

With the rise of AI, training programs are evolving rapidly. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/ai/ offer personalized learning paths, real-time progress tracking, and role-based recommendations. Traditional learning, on the other hand, often follows a fixed curriculum with limited flexibility.

From your experience, do https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/ai actually improve skill retention and career growth compared to conventional methods? Are personalized recommendations more effective than a structured classroom or self-paced course?

Some learners combine AI insights with https://github.com/orgs/azure-ai-foundry/discussions/162 to prepare for certifications. Could this blended approach make learning more efficient and targeted?

I am curious to hear how professionals and students perceive AI-driven learning versus traditional approaches. Which method helped you achieve better outcomes, and why?

I am from the old school and prefer being able to learn with all my senses.  The company I use to work for went to a LiveTrain option which I thought was nice but the longer I used it the more frustrated I become.   I am not getting the crucial pop ups to reveal the next steps which makes me exit the LiveTrain feature and do my research old school.  Umi love reading the SOPS, the work instructions, and also the assist from my trainers versus a pop up window and a green check mark to show my abilities are correct.   And since we deal with credit card payments everyone of my key strokes is being monitored.   Never had that with our old oracle based software.    Kind of makes me awkward especially when I'm ending the day and balancing the guest ledger.  Makes me wonder if my employer truly trust me as a hard working employee.  Wish I could remember the name of the keystroke software to better understand why it's with the new system and never was with the old system.  Strange......SMH!
