To speak at Microsoft  Use Get Help to reach a live support person. I888 I 7O4 I O575

Open Get Help on the web or in Windows.

    1. Enter a short description of the issue.
    2. If self-help does not solve it, select Contact Support.
    3. Choose the affected product or service.
    4. Complete any additional prompts and select Confirm.

Choose a contact method, if available:

Chat with a support agent in your web browser

Provide your phone number and a support agent will call you

For personal Microsoft accounts, support options depend on the product, scenario, subscription, and hours of operation.

I understand your frustration. Although, as a moderator, I'm not directly responding to customer calls with problems, I can offer you strategic guidance on how to contact a real person in Microsoft Support. This is a common problem, and the key is understanding the prompts and steps to bypass the automated system.

Select 1: Contact Microsoft support by phone

If you are unable to access the Microsoft 365 admin center, you can contact Microsoft Support directly.

Find the appropriate phone number for your region here: Customer service phone numbers - Microsoft Support

To help you navigate the automated phone system (IVR), here’s an example of how the conversation might go:

IVR: What kind of problem are you concerned about?

You: (Your issue you want discuss - example: MFA...)

IVR: What kind of product do you use?

    You: Office 365 for business

    IVR: Education or business account?

    You: For business

    IVR: Are you an administrator?

    You: Yes

IVR: Do you have another administrator in your organization?

    You: No

IVR: Do you need a service request?

    You: Yes

This should help you get connected to a live support agent who can assist you directly.

Select 2: If you are using a Microsoft 365 account provided by your work or school (not a Personal or Family subscription), the procedure is different and must be done by an Admin:

You Must Contact Your Admin: Microsoft's policy for business accounts is that non-admin users must go through their internal IT support or Microsoft 365 Administrator.

Admin Steps to Create a Ticket: The Administrator must sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, navigate to Support > Help & support, and then create a new service request. The business support team will then call the admin regarding the ticket.

By using the official online portal to request a call back, you are following the prescribed method that should lead you directly to a human agent, minimizing time wasted with the automated phone tree.

If your organization's Office 365 Business/Education subscription is from a partner or reseller, and the global administrator is unable to open a service request on your end, contact the reseller's support provider to help open a service request on behalf of you instead.

I hope this direct path resolves the core issue. Please update the thread with the outcome so the community can benefit from your experience.

How do I talk to a live human at Microsoft - Tech Support?

Press 0 then 1 then 1 then keep pressing 0 until transferred. Our free phone can also navigate phone menus to get a live human at Microsoft - Tech Support for you.

Does Microsoft - Tech Support offer 24 hour customer service?

Not at this number; hours here are Mon-Fri 6am-10pm, Sat-Sun 7am-6pm PT. The least busy day is Sunday, and the most busy day is Monday. Schedule a call when the call center is open and when it's convenient for you.
