We’re reaching out with an important update about your GitHub Certification. As part of our partnership with Microsoft Learn, we’ve made the decision to align GitHub’s certification renewal process with the Microsoft Certification renewal policy. This will provide a more consistent renewal experience across GitHub and Microsoft certifications and make renewing your certification easier. What this means for you Under the new renewal policy, you will no longer need to retake the full certification exam to renew your certification. Instead, you will be able to renew your certification through the new renewal policy. As the renewal process is not yet available for GitHub exams on Microsoft Learn, we’re providing a one-time six-month extension to GitHub certifications. This extension is intended to give you additional time to renew your certification while we complete the transition to the new experience. Your certification will remain active for an additional six months beyond its current expiration date. No action is required from you at this time.
