Countifs issue

Morning, 

I am trying to use the =COUNTIFS toadd information from 2 active sheets for a date range count, but is seems to be subtracting the 2 ranges. below is the formula that is subtracting, how do i achieve it to add the two date ranges together. 

=COUNTIFS(Account!G2:G80,">=01/01/2024",Account!G2:G80,"<=31/12/2024",'Sales '!G2:G80,">=01/01/2024",'Sales '!G2:G80,"<=31/12/2024")
