AI Skills Fest Voucher Reinstated After Medical Emergency but Showing as Expired
AI Skills Fest Voucher Reinstated by Pearson VUE but Showing as Expired
Hello Microsoft Support / Microsoft Community,
I am seeking assistance regarding an AI Skills Fest 2026 exam voucher and a missed Microsoft certification exam.
My exam was scheduled for 3 August 2026, but unfortunately I was unable to attend/check in because of an unexpected medical emergency. Because of the emergency, I was not able to contact Pearson VUE or Microsoft before the appointment.
I subsequently contacted Pearson VUE and opened Case #42338826. I also provided supporting information regarding the medical emergency.
Pearson VUE later cancelled the exam and confirmed in writing that my voucher had been restored/reinstated for another use. Their email specifically states:
Voucher Code: MSS*******
Expiration Date: 18 Oct 2026
However, when I now try to schedule the exam again through Pearson VUE, the system says:
“The voucher is Expired and can no longer be used.”
The checkout page is therefore asking me to pay USD 58, even though Pearson VUE has explicitly confirmed that the voucher was reinstated and is valid until 18 October 2026.
I have already contacted Pearson VUE regarding this issue, but I have not been able to get a resolution.
Could someone from Microsoft please advise whether this voucher can be reactivated/relinked to my Microsoft certification profile, or whether Microsoft can coordinate with Pearson VUE to correct the voucher status?
I understand that Pearson VUE handles exam delivery, but because this is an AI Skills Fest Microsoft voucher, I would greatly appreciate Microsoft's assistance in resolving the voucher eligibility/status issue.
I am willing to provide the Pearson VUE case details and supporting documentation if required.
Pearson VUE Case: #42338826
Voucher expiration shown in Pearson VUE email: 18 October 2026
Thank you for your time and assistance. I would really appreciate any guidance from Microsoft regarding the next step.
Best regards,
Syed Moiz
