I do like your suggestion. I miss the old MCSA and MCSE designations where you were recognized for passing multiple exams. There is some level of that today with the skill-based Expert exams.
Microsoft actually used to have Microsoft Certified Master (MCM), Microsoft Certified Solutions Master (MCSM), and Microsoft Certified Architect (MCA) back in the day but those programs are long gone.
I wish Microsoft would bring something like this back. The only closest top-level recognition today above holding multiple Expert-level certs is being a Microsoft MVP, although that award is more community impact driven then simply being a technology expert.
