Hi,

we want use file viewer with a PDF file in a new "News" entry in Subscription Edition.

But SP is only accepting office files to upload. We experienced this behaviour in SP2019 already.

Notice: This is only in the OnPremise version. SP Online IS accepting PDF files (???)

The only way to show a PDF was upload it first and paste the link into the news.

This is annoying.

Has anyone experienced this behaviour and can help out?

Any help is highly appreceated.
