webhook in sharepoint
Can I configure/use webhook in sharepoint 2016 onpremises enviroment? If yes do we need azure subcription for the same. If no what would be the alternative of webhook in onpremises?
AFAIK, Webhooks are not available in SP 2016...not sure if they will be supported in SP 2019....could you provide more details about what you need to achieve? Since you are OnPrem, you can still use classic event receivers there
I would recommend using remote event receivers than serverside ones since they are more secure and future safe but it also depends on scenario you have.
