Update a template
I have an old subsite template that is using a document library that I need to change the data for one of the columns. I've changed every document library I can find in every subsite template I could find and each time I create a new subsite using that template, the column still has the old values in it. Is there a better way to figure out which subsite is the template? This was created years ago, probably on 2013, but possibly on 2010 and might have been migrated to 2016.
Thanks in advance,
E
ecflyer Are you using SharePoint 2016 and site templates for creating a new site?
If you make any changes to site, it will not automatically update in the site template you have created previously. You have to create a new site template after making changes and use it for creating new sites.
