Unique ID in List App
I have a dataset that grows monthly where the critical field is a unique identifier. Can I assign that data to the unique ID field? I don’t need to generate another unique ID. Thanks in advance. ...
Martinriddell SharePoint list by default has ID column in it which is unique number for each list item.
This is managed by SharePoint out of the box functionality and you cannot update or reuse it manually/programmatically.
