Supported Add-in operations in PnP provisioning Engine

I see there's one PnP:Addin node in the provisioning schema. I have not found any documentation to know how that should be used. From the schema documentation, I understand it can be used to upload app package to app catalog. Is this correct? 

If I have to install/update/remove app to site, change permissions to the app, don't we have support from PnP provisioning engine?
