SPFX > Propertypane dropdown does not show all values

In the Property of my webpart I show a dropdown control. I want the user to select a contenttype.

The dropdown gets populated just fine but, as a have a lot of contenttypes, it does not fit on the screen.

The dropdown does not show a scrollbar or some other option to select a contenttype which is not visible on the screen.

Is it possible to create some kind of scrolling so I can select all contenttypes?

Btw, one can discuss whether this  would be the best solution (from a UI perspective) but for testing purposes I would like to get this working.
