Sharepoint Online : Sort Date Field
Hi,
I have document library with 100,000 + records.
Library have date field other than Created Date which contains dates and blank values as per certain conditions
When we try to sort the date field ("Newer to Older" or "Older to Newer") , sort is not working properly.
We have similar library in Dev and UAT environment with less number of records (few hundreds) have sort functionality working properly.
Let me know what can be the possible cause and fix for the issue
vkartik This is because your document library has became very large now.
Try adding index on your date column and see if it works, follow: Add an index to a list or library column

Indexing on Date column is already added.
Do we have any microsoft article where it mentions sorting issues due to size of library
