Sharepoint app update failing for unknown reason

Hi everyone,

I developed a SharePoint app. Everything was going well to update it every time i wanted to do some changes. I was increasing the version in the app.manifest, publishing, uploading the generated packaged app on sharepoint and updating without issues.

Today, I tried to update it again with some changes. But when i try to get the latest version on the catalog, it is displaying this message: Sorry we weren't able to update your app. We are going back to the previous version.

I am doing the publish using visual studio, and no errors were detected while packaging the app.

I am clueless about the reason it does not want to update successfully. Does anyone have some inputs?
