SharePoint 2013 VM Dev/Test environment in Win 10 Pro?

Question

Looking for advice on setting up SharePoint 2013 Dev/Test environment on a standalone computer to mirror environment of a large institutional client who runs SP 2013 and Office 2013.&nbsp; My standalone is running Win 10 Pro and I have Hyper-V Manager installed.&nbsp; Any/all steps and advice welcome.&nbsp; No luck so far sifting through Microsoft support sites to find guidance and have spent more than an hour on the phone with Microsoft without finding anyone knowledgeable enough to speak to the requirement.&nbsp; Thx in advance for any help.

Hi Bricktop,
The SharePoint installer expects an earlier version of Windows. I had some fun trying to install onto Windows 2012 R2 and made some notes on my blog that might help. Specifically issues with Pre-req installer, .NET Framework version and the AppFabric. Hopefully this helps:
