Resolution on sites

Hello!

 

I am trying to create a sharepoint site and came across this issue quite recently. I am new to sharepoint and cant find some answers anywhere. Is it possible to modify the resolution of the sharepoint site? The layout on my laptop is very bad according to my me. I want the resolution to be more the my bigger screen like the picture below.
