Hello Vesa,

 

manly we have this access methods:

  • user access the modern SharePoint (also libraries) site in browser
  • user access the file, trough last open document in the office desktop client
  • user access files from SharePoint trough OneDrive
  • user access files from the team’s apps

CDN improves the performance of static assets but has no impact on the Office file usage. So, in this case, it would not improve your performance.
