PnP Search Box Help

Hi there, does anyone have any detailed instructions on how to fill out this part of the PNP Search Box. I want to have a search box on my SharePoint home page and have the search query to filter my search results on a different page where I have a PNP Search Results webpart.

I.e. on the Home Page, when someone types a query into the PNP Search Box, I know I have the option to have a new page open, but how do I get that search term to prepopulate the Search Results on the new page?
