List view - Column wrapping?

Hello! I couldn't for the life of me find anything regarding formatting a list view to look a certain way. I have a list view that only displays one column. I want to use this view as a connection to another list in order to filter data. I want it to not take up vertical space, so I'm limiting the list to 10 items and using paging. It works great, but I want the list to fill up more horizontal space, as the list will contain hundreds of items. Currently it looks like this:
