How will this roadmap feature impact custom SPFx components? Introducing custom fonts for SharePoint

This feature will begin rolling out in March 2024:

Does anyone know how this will this impact existing and new custom SPFx components and Adaptive cards? Or will the Office UI Fabric and Adaptive cards adopt the custom fonts configured in the 'brand center' automatically?

But even if this is the case, I assume at a minimum, any custom solutions would need to be updated to take advantage of this new feature?
