Enable modern site pages on classic sites

Hi, Can I create modern pages on classic sites? If so, how?   I see this thread from 8 months ago (https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/SharePoint/Enable-modern-site-pages/m-p/50728#M4902).  ...

Short answer: yes, you should be able to create modern pages on classic sites too
