I'd like to know this too please. I had to set my target to net4.6.1 which immediately removes cross platform capability.

For reference, here is my csproj file:

    <OutputType>Exe</OutputType>
    <TargetFramework>net4.6.1</TargetFramework>
  </PropertyGroup>
