Creating modern teamsite with pnp CSOM, CreateGroupEx error

Since the 20th about half of our sites created with the standard pnp CSOM Core procedure (From here), are failing with the following message:

Almost all of the other sites that are not failing with this message, go through at least one error, generally because site isn't ready yet, before functions try again, and does manage to create a custom folderset and custom view.
