Creating Azure SharePoint App -- No "Convert to app for SharePoint project" menu exists in VS 2017

Attempting to follow the instructions at: https://dev.office.com/patterns-and-practices-detail/1922

I have installed:

Visual Studio 2017 (includes Azure SDK)

I am able to create the Azure Cloud Service with a WebRole and a Worker Role.

However, there is no "convert" menu when I right-click on the WebRole project in Visual Studio Solution folder; therefore there is no "Convert to app for SharePoint project" sub menu.

Not sure if this functionality was removed in VS2017 or if there is another requisite....
