Best way to save an excel document in a document library though a program

Hi, I have a requirement to open and save an excel file with a macro (xlsm type of file) on a schedule.

The file is in a document library. 

I'm writing a c# program with Excel Interop object. But I'm getting a COMException when I save the document.

What is the best way to do it?
