Do we need viva insight advance license fo

Good question, to answer I have provided a few links for reference.
You will need a minimum of 50 licenses assigned to your employees in order for data processing to kick off in the first place.
After that in order to run the Manager Effectiveness query (which is required to set up the report), you will need to have licenses assigned to the set of employees that you would like to analyze.
So in short, yes you will need at least 50 licenses assigned, but if you already have Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses, those employees will automatically have a Viva Insights license assigned to them.

Hi,
We currently have Microsoft 365 E5 licenses for more than 50 users. I wanted to confirm whether Viva Insights is included in this plan.
Also, to access the Manager Effectiveness report in Viva Insights:
Do we need to purchase Viva Insights Advanced licenses for all 50 users, or
Can the report be accessed with our existing E5 licenses?
Alternatively, is it sufficient to purchase the Viva Insights Advanced license for just one person (e.g., the analyst creating the report)?

Hi namita - you essentially need a Viva Insights premium license for every user who needs to be in the measured population for the Manager effectiveness query. The Viva insights features that you can access via the E5 license does NOT provide premium features which allow for the Manager effectiveness report.

Hi namita, I do not know if Viva Insights is included in the E5 plan. Please work with your Account Executive for that question.
For Manager Effectiveness access:
Yes you would need Viva Insights licenses for at least 50 users as outlined in the documents I linked in my last answer.
Not sure about E5 access, check with your Microsoft Sales team/Account Executive.
