Power Automate and Dynamics AX

Hi,

 

Is it possible to use Power Automate/MS Flow to automate transactions in AX?

We are a small company that don't have resources for 'real' automation software (UI Path, BluePrism etc), but I would like to run reports or enter data in AX using some kind of automation.

Can MS Power Automate be used for this? What about usernames and passwords - does Power Automate need its own user to be able to access AX?

    Hi AnneRdk 

     

    There might be a couple of options in testing Business process flows (can interact with Dynamics 365 though I haven't as yet tested if AX is supported too), and if you wanted to have a dedicated computer set up, you could try UI flows which record your mouse and keyboard actions to replay.

     

     

    Whichever accounts interact with the systems you want to hook up to, need to have the appropriate account permissions.
