Lists app - filter not working

Hello, first post! 

We have a List set up through powerapps.  It has worked perfectly til now - but today if I try to filter any of the columns each filter option has a # at the front and end - when you search it not only searches for the filter but also "empty" so returns an invalid result which includes every listing.  Any ideas?  Glitch just for today?
