Deprecated Power Apps controls seem to be still available
Hi ChrisDoran, we are experiencing the same issue.
I've logged at least 3 support calls with MS and still awaiting an suitable answer. I was given suggestion of controls to replace them with but when I attempted the only options that I had were the controls being deprecated. I've raised another support call on the advice of our support manager at MS with the hope of getting some answers as we are a month aware from April. Will let you know if we get an answer.
We have also noticed they had initially mentioned option set as a control being deprecated, but they have now removed it from the list.
collie96 we managed to get to speak to someone in the Power Apps product team in Redmond. We verbally confirmed that replacements will be made available in due course, and the current controls will not be removed until the newer ones are available.
We were well down the track of producing our own replacements for some of the deprecated controls but have shelved that work.
Obviously, this isn't the same as official confirmation from Microsoft, but it's much closer than what we managed to get from Microsoft support and/or these forum posts, and is from a trusted source.

Any chance Microsoft has updated you?
I noticed I can no longer add the CC_AutoComplete control to new fields, but it is still showing on my other fields. I cannot find a suitable replacement for it yet.- ChrisDoranJul 09, 2024Copper Contributor
Hind_ - I've not had an update from Microsoft on this, no. We've reached out to our contacts to see if we can find out more. If we get a meaningful/useful response, I'll post an update here. To me it looks like the current position is:
- No longer supported, so presumably in the (fairly unlikely) event of issues with the current controls, we'd be on our own to address them. The biggest risk here is probably a change to the UUI that causes a regression issue with these controls, but as above, I would think that's pretty low.
- You can't add them to forms any more, as you said. That's what I'm seeing anyway.
- There are no replacement controls available, and no published timeframe for that to happen.
Not great, but probably only an immediate issue if you want to add the controls to new forms or fields on existing forms.

Hind_ the last update I got was the isn't a replacement yet. This was in June. However I was reassured the controls weren't going as yet, its just not guaranteed to always work as it does now due to MS not supporting it anymore. Likelihood the control will sit there for a few more years.
They did say we could use PCF Library, however I'm hesitant to use due to having another area to monitor for changes and having to do manually when done.
