not all photos appear On This Day...

I have 100s of photos that do not appear in the "On this day" section of one drive app.

 

All of my photos are on one drive in the Pictures folder.

I can see them when i navigate them using the folders.

How is it only some photos appear?

    I moved to OneDrive a month ago coming from Amazon drive. I specifically chose OneDrive because of the "On this day" feature I also had on Amazon. However, after moving thousands of pictures, i noticed that On this day does not display all of them. I checked and made sure they are all present in folders on OneDrive online and that the date taken is actually correct. Also, many mp4 files are not displayed while some are. Does anyone have a solution for this. I am thinking of going back to Amazon as I didn't have such issues there.
