Excel shortcuts changed

Why on the living earth would Excel change its shortkeys in Excel? I have got these shortcuts like printed in my brain. The (Dutch) hot keys for for example merging and celling cells was usually "Alt + R + SS", and now all of a sudden "Alt + R + 1 + SS", because they added the new group "Review". Jesus, how can people change this.

  • Excel’s ribbon Access Keys can change when Microsoft adds, removes, or reorganizes ribbon groups, especially across releases and language versions. That is why a memorized sequence can gain an extra step even though the command still exists. Press Alt once in the current Excel window and follow the KeyTips displayed over the tabs and commands; those reflect the installed version and Dutch interface rather than an older shortcut map. For Merge and Center, use the displayed KeyTips from the Home tab instead of relying on the historical sequence. If this action is used constantly, consider assigning a macro to the command and placing that macro on the Quick Access Toolbar, where it can receive a stable shortcut. Also check whether the Office update channel changed recently, because feature changes can alter the ribbon layout. Microsoft does not guarantee that every legacy Access Key sequence stays identical after ribbon changes
