Clarification on Tracking Email Activity with Non-Microsoft Clients in Microsoft Graph API Reports

The reports are generated based on (mailbox) audit events, which in turn are agnostic to the client used.
VasilMichev in our case, we want to understand why there is a difference between the two APIs. Specifically, we’ve found that users have Exchange activities in getOffice365ActiveUserDetail, but there is no Outlook usage reported in getM365AppUserDetail
