Can a Teams Channel name start with space?

Dear Community, 

I am facing an issue fetching the children of a teams channel when the channel name is renamed and starts with empty space. 

Ex:

Original Channel Name: "Test"

Renamed Channel Name: " Test 123"

This page does not mention anything on this https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/limits-specifications-teams

Any help or hints are much appreciated.
