Skills Lab for staff students to gain real life working experience

I am looking at implementing a skills lab for my students could you please advise how I could do this or who I could speak to have one apologies if this seems like a silly question

Can you expand on your question? ie What sort of skills are you wanting to provide to your students and what type of real life experience are you seeking to foster.
